Kindle DX Now Available in Australia – Shipping From Jan 19
Amazon.com has just announced that the new Australian Kindle DX featuring all the brilliant features of the original Australian Kindle will commence shipping to Australia on January 19 2010.
The main difference between the standard Kindle and the Kindle DX are
- The screen size at 9.7 inches compared to the standard Kindle at 6″,
- Auto rotation – when you turn it on its side the screen automatically rotates
- Increased memory of 3.3GB which holds up to 3,500 books

The Kindle DX is priced at USD$489 which works out to be around AUD $530 after the delivery fee.
