BeBook – Ebook Reader – The 1st Competitor To The Australian Kindle

Posted on December 6th, 2009 by admin in eBook Readers

I met recently with Harold Wiegers the Australian distributor of the BeBook – the ebook reader that both Dymocks and The Co-Op Bookshop are selling.

Unlike the Australian Kindle by Amazon.com, the BeBook does not tie you into buying all your books through Amazon and offers support for a very large number of eBook file formats as well as being able to display Microsoft Word documents, Adobe PDF and the popular mobi and epub formats.
