Our brand new Australian Amazon Kindle arrived in the post today – the one we are giving away to one lucky reader. Our first impressions are that this is a very reader friendly ebook reader, quite easy to hold, not too heavy and the screen is about the size of a normal paperback.

It comes in its own specially constructed box, and whilst not up to the Apple standard of beautiful packaging it certainly fits what is required. The contents of the package are
- Kindle, with a plastic protective skin
- A USB cord, for charging
- Small instruction book
