Apple iPad Launches – No Australian iPad Date Yet

Posted on January 28th, 2010 by admin in Kindle, eBook Readers, iPad

Apple launched the much awaited iPad overnight and it certainly will shake up the local book market once released in Australia.

Featuring a 9.7inch full colour screen comparable to the Kindle DX as well as WiFi, full browser support, iTunes, email, maps and the new iBook store, the iPad will revolutionise the book market in Australia and throw up a huge challenge to the semi-established Kindle.

But for now Australians are limited to the Kindle, the Kindle DX and the Bebook.
